Liz
Founder & Education Consultant
A graduate of Birmingham University in Mathematical Sciences and the Open University with a PGCE in Secondary Maths, Liz began her career in the IT industry before transitioning to education.
With over seven years in the classroom and ten years as a professional tutor, she brings a wealth of experience in teaching mathematics across all age groups. Known for her patient and caring approach, she is now dedicated to offering the same high-quality, individualised service to more students and across more subjects.
Ros
Education Consultant
Ros holds a Certificate in Education (with Credit for Principles of Education) and a BA from the Open University. Her teaching career spans all Key Stages, covering ages 4 to 18, with a recent focus on the primary sector. In the final decade of her career, Ros served as a Head Teacher, during which she achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship and completed the NCSL Leadership programme.
With extensive expertise in teaching and learning across diverse subjects, Ros is recognised as an outstanding educator who consistently achieves positive outcomes for her students. She has a wealth of experience working with pupils with additional needs, skilfully identifying their academic and social strengths and challenges. This insight allows her to design effective, individualised teaching plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
A strong advocate of a child-centred approach, Ros’s teaching philosophy emphasises positive reinforcement to build confidence, foster enjoyment, and ensure success for every learner.
